Welcome To Calamity!

Hello Bloggers &+ WELCOME TO THE BEGINNING OF CALAMITY!

This is obviously Calamity's very first blog and we would like to welcome you to
our site! We are very excited about the start of Calamity in 2010 & are informing
you on what you should expect from us. First off we would like to let you know
that 2010 will be our first year so you shouldn't expect anything outragious YET.
We are only young teenagers and we arent having a kiddies section until we
get out there on our own. We may be starting off with a section under a big band but we
cannot promise you who or if it is official just yet. We would like to start on our
own but we are unknown for the moment. But you can expect the adult costumes
to be lovely because we have already started brain storming and scetching for
our "Stones Of De Islands" theme.

Calamity Mas began in the borough of Brooklyn New York by two young teenagers Sache Sookhan & Niah Massop in 2009. They were inspired by the bright colors of Borokeete Internationals section "Sara Swati" in their 2009 section; as seen in the picture above(Sache on the left and Niah on the right). these two teens have been and still are working hard to design their theme 'Stones Of De Islands' for Calamity in 2010. Pictures of costumes and band launchings will be posted through out the year to inform the customers on prices, locations, & updates on progress during the making of these costumes.
